Woman arrested after injured body of four-year-old boy found in NSW

A woman has been arrested after the body of an injured four-year-old boy was found at a home in NSW.

Officers said they were concerned for the child’s welfare and attended a property on the Central Coast after trying to speak to a 32-year-old woman who went to Wyong police station at around 4.40pm on Saturday.

Police found the child’s body on the property, with a serious injury to his arm.

While the police stated that the woman was known to the victim, homicide squad teams launched an investigation into the incident.
