Woman charged with murder after body of four-year-old boy found in Central Coast home | New South Wales

A woman has been charged with murder after police found the body of a pre-school child at a home on the New South Wales Central Coast.

Police descended on the Wyong home after a 32-year-old woman reported to the local police station on Saturday.

Police officers tried to talk to the woman but were unsuccessful.

The body of the child, believed to be a four-year-old boy, was found at home in the afternoon with a serious injury to his arm.

The child has not yet been officially identified, but it is believed the woman who was later arrested knew him.

The woman was charged with murder (domestic violence) on Sunday. It was stated that the woman, who was refused bail, will appear in court on Sunday.

Police were still at the scene Sunday morning and will investigate what happened to the boy with the help of the homicide unit.
