Woman dies after medical emergency on popular Dorset beach

A woman has died following emergency medical treatment at a popular beach in Dorset.

Emergency services were called to Southbourne Beach at 2.21pm on Monday, June 22, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after arrival.

Dorset Police confirmed the incident and a force spokesman said: “The next of kin are aware of the situation and the coroner has been informed. The death is not being treated as suspicious.”
