Woman killed in Nottinghamshire skydiving incident

A 22-year-old woman died in a skydiving incident near Nottinghamshire airport, police said.
Nottinghamshire Police said emergency services were called to an incident near Langar Airport at 12.13pm on Sunday.
The young woman was found in a nearby field and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family was notified and no one else was injured, police added.
A file is being prepared for the coroner.
Detective inspector Rachel Mayfield said: “This was a tragic incident and we are working with our partners to understand what happened.”
“As our investigations at the scene continue, our thoughts are with the woman’s family and everyone affected.”
