Zelenskyy Urges Sanctions After Russia’s Largest Aerial Assault on Ukraine

Kyiv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called for sanctions against Russia after the largest air strike of the Ukraine War on Saturday night.

In a series of tasks in X, Zelenskyy said that statements made by state leaders and institutions should be supported by strong actions such as “sanctions against Russia and Russia, including tariffs and trade restrictions. “The losses should be felt. This is really convincing.”

US President Donald Trump announced on Sunday that he is ready to impose additional sanctions against Russia in response to the ongoing conflict. When asked if he was ready to move to the second stage of the sanctions against Moscow, Trump said, “Yes, I am.”
