‘You just hate men’: The argument replacing #NotAllMen

#NotAllMen has been dominant in reactions to feminist posts, but in the last few months I’ve seen the “you’re just a man hater” phrase more prevalent. I did a completely non-scientific (but fairly comprehensive) review of manosphere accounts on Substack and saw the same trend in both content and comments. The attitude seems to be that women are feminists only because they hate men, so anything feminists say is not only wrong but also malicious, clearly. cowardly wrong.

This doesn’t mean that #NotAllMen has disappeared (it hasn’t) or that misogynistic accusations are new (they’re not).
