Donald Trump rages at ‘Epstein hoax’ in furious rant as new emails pile on pressure | World | News

US President Donald Trump has broken his silence after new emails suggest he knew about Epstein’s crimes.

In a post on Truth Social, he said: “Democrats are trying to rehash the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax because they will do anything to ignore how poorly they did on the Shutdown and so many other issues. Only a very bad or stupid Republican would fall into this trap. Democrats are costing our Country $1.5 Trillion with their latest shenanigans of brutally shutting down our country, while also putting many at risk — and they should pay a fair price. Any action against Epstein or anything else.” “There should be no deviation, and the Republicans involved should focus solely on opening up our Country and repairing the massive damage the Democrats have caused!”

The post follows new emails showing Epstein and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell referring to Trump as a “dog that doesn’t bark.”

An email Epstein sent to Maxwell in April 2011 says: “I want you to understand that the dog that doesn’t bark is trump. [Victim] I spent hours with him in my house, and he was never mentioned. Police chief. etc. I’m 75% there.”

Maxwell replies: “I was thinking about it…”

Trump’s name appeared multiple times in private emails sent by convicted pedophile Epstein to sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell and US journalist Michael Wolff.

Earlier this year, Ghislaine Maxwell was interviewed by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche and denied seeing “any inappropriate” behavior from Trump.

“Democrats selectively leaked emails to liberal media to create a false narrative to smear President Trump,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told the Express.

A White House journalist asked Ms. Leavitt whether President Trump believed ex-Prince Andrew should come and testify to Congress about the scandal, and Leavitt replied: “I haven’t talked to him about that specific issue, but I can ask him and get back to you.” The US President has consistently denied any wrongdoing regarding Epstein and has never been accused of wrongdoing in connection with the investigations into Epstein.

Earlier today, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt branded the allegations about Donald Trump a “hoax.”

He said: “These emails prove absolutely nothing other than the fact that President Trump has done nothing wrong.

“And President Trump always said he was from Palm Beach and so was Jeffrey Epstein. Jeffrey Epstein was a member of Mar-a-Lago until President Trump kicked him out for being a pedophile and a creep.”
