Zelenskiy warns Trump that Putin likely ‘bluffing’

US President Donald Trump, French President Emmanuel Macron, said Ukraine should have negotiations about the land in any ceasefire agreement about Russia.
Comments were the first indicators from the talks between Trump, European leaders and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, aiming to shape Trump’s meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on Friday.
Trump’s insistence to include Ukraine can bring a measure of relief to Ukraine and its allies, who sell Trump and Putin’s security interests if he is verified and may reach an agreement that proposes to carving the territory of Ukraine.
Trump and Putin will meet in Alaska on Friday for negotiations about how the three and a half -year -old conflict will end.
Trump said that both sides should change the land to end the war that cost tens of thousands of lives and cost millions of people.
On a busy diplomacy day, Zelenskiy flew to Berlin for European leaders and then for virtual meetings with Trump and German.
Some European governments are concerned that a land exchange can leave Russia with almost one -fifth of Ukraine and strengthen Putin to expand to the west in the future.
Among the participants of Trump were the leaders of France, England, Italy, Poland and Finland, as well as the European Commission President Ursula von Der Leyen and President of the Council of Europe, President of the Council of Europe.
In a statement on Wednesday, Zelenskiy said that Trump-Putin talks would focus on the ceasefire and that Trump was “bluffing” about Putin’s desire to end the war.
“I told the US president and all our European colleagues that Putin was blocked,” Berlin said in a common briefing with Friedrich Merz. He said.
“The Ukrainian Front is trying to apply pressure before the meeting in Alaska all over the Ukrainian Front. Russia is trying to show that it can occupy the entire Ukraine.”
Zelenskiy added that the speech about Ukraine should exclude representatives of his country and added that he wanted a meeting.
Von Der Leyen said Europe, USA and NATO military alliance strengthened their common ground for Ukraine.
After attending a virtual meeting with the European Commission, Trump, European leaders and Zelenskiy, he wrote, “We made a very good call.”
“Today, Europe, the United States and NATO strengthened the common ground for Ukraine,” Von Der Luyen said, “We will stay in close coordination. Nobody wants more peace than us, does not want a fair and lasting peace.”
