Walmart-backed e-commerce giant Flipkart announced on Friday, November 14, 2025 that the company has updated its commission structure for all eligible sellers listing products below the price tag. ₹1,000, the news agency reported PTI.

The company also reportedly said that its new “zero commission model” will extend to all products sold on Shopsy, regardless of their price, as the business now aims to target the hypervalue segment to increase affordability for its customers.

Sakait Chaudhary, Senior Vice President and Head of Marketplace at Flipkart, said India’s Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector accounts for around 30% of the country’s gross domestic product (GDP).
