Elon Musk became the world’s first trillionaire thanks to his stocks SpaceX after the company’s IPO on June 12. Prediction market traders think the person who has the best chance of being next is Mark Zuckerberg, but that’s still a long shot.
Speculators in Kalshi say: Meta The CEO has a 32% chance of becoming the world’s second trillionaire. His net worth is estimated at just under $200 billion, according to Forbes, and Kalshi is using that to determine whether to settle the contract “yes” or “no.” This means his net worth would have to quadruple to win the title.
Kalshi’s contracts on the question also expire in 2033; meaning that if the person listed in the contract does not become the second trillionaire by that point, the contract will close. Event contracts on Kalshi’s question are also currently trading on low volume and just above $7,500.
Traders on the platform give Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has a 21% chance of achieving a 13-figure net worth, the next best. His current net worth is just north of $180 billion, according to Forbes.
No one else appears to have more than a 10 percent chance of becoming the second trillionaire. Michael Dell, CEO Dell TechnologiesHe has the third best chance at 6%. This is despite the fact that his current net worth ($240 billion) is more than that of Zuckerberg or Huang.
Despite prediction market traders’ low odds, more than one trillionaire is likely on the way if previous research is to be believed. An Oxfam report dated January 2025 predicted that within ten years five trillionaires.
