NFL holds moment of silence for victims in Yom Kippur terror attack

Before a game between NFL, Minnesota Vikings and Cleveland Browns on Sunday, Manchester in Yom Kippur had a moment of silence for the victims of the synagogue stabbing attack in England.

When an attacker Heaton Park hit the people in the Hebrew Community Synagogue and then attacked people with a knife, two people were killed and three were seriously injured. The attacker was shot and killed in what the police called the terrorist attack.

The NFL game was played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. To support the teams, the orange or purple -dressed fans took off their hats and left briefly silent before the “Star Sirman Banner” was played.

The deceased victims were defined as 53 -year -old Adrian Daulby and 66 -year -old Melvin Cravitz – both of them worship in the synagogue. Daulby said he was accidentally shot by an officer while trying to prevent the worshipers from entering the building by making the door closed barricades.

Daulby’s family greeted him as a “hero”, a “hero”, a deep courage.

Cravitz’s family described him as a “compassionate” family man.

“Melvin did everything to help everyone. He was very kind, compassionate, and always wanted to chat and know people.”

The attacker was defined as 35-year-old Jihad Al-Shamie. In 2006, he was a citizen of British Syrian origin who came to the country when he was a child.

The police said that Al-Shamie might have been “influenced by extreme Islamist ideology”, but warned that the attack of the attack “takes some time”.
