Illinois sues Trump seeking to block deployment of national guard | Ice (US Immigration and Customs Enforcement)

Illinois, the President of the National Guard troops to be deployed to the state against the requests of the governor after ordering the Trump administration on behalf of the city and Chicago city.
Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul filed a lawsuit To stop Donald Trump’s calling the national guards of the state or sending troops from other states to “immediately and permanently”.
“The American people should not live under the threat of occupation by the United States Army, regardless of where they reside, but only because the city or state leaderships have fallen in favor of a president.
Trump went after the democratic -led cities, sent to the army to squeeze protests and help the deportation agenda. He declared war on Chicago, threatened to send more units for weeks, cleaned the city to deport people, and protested against the pressure of local residents.
Raoul argues that the efforts to send protection troops against a state will violate the sovereignty and self -management of the state and will cause unrest and harm to the inhabitants of the state.
“It will cause more unrest, including damaging social texture and community relations and increase the insecurity of the police. It also affects economic damages, business activities and tourism that damages Illinois’s tax revenue, not only hurt Illinois people, including increasing the insecurity of the police.
Illinois Governor JB Pritzker said Trump administration did not discuss the plans to federalize the national guards of the state or to send unity from other states.
“Now we should start to call it: Trump’s invasion,” he said. “It started with federal agents, soon it will involve the use of federalized members of the National Guards of the National Guards against our wishes and now involve sending to the military units of another state.”
A judge appointed by Trump in Oregon prevented Trump from sending unity to Portland. California Governor Gavin Newsom is fighting against the troops sent from the state to Oregon. The troops from Texas would be sent to Portland and Chicago with the blessings of the Governor of Texas Greg Abbott.
Trump management officials scared against the decision, saying that a judge could not prevent the president from moving the troops. Trump Advisor Stephen Miller said, “Today’s judicial decision is one of the most terrible and noisy violations of the constitution we have seen so far – and the last example of the efforts to invalidate the 2024 elections by Fiat.
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson also signed an order to prohibit federal immigration representatives from the “documented use of the public school parking parks and the“ documented use of the city as staging sites to carry out the operation of the city’s ownership.
Johnson said in a statement, “We will not tolerate the ice agents who violate the constitutional rights of our residents, and we will not allow the federal government to ignore our local authority. Ice agents are elected officials, tear journalists, Chicago police officers and Chicago residents.
