The country threatened war after pleading with India to stop aerial bombing during four days of military clashes in May. Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, who is venomous against India, again used common rhetoric against the neighboring country. He warned that the possibility of another war against New Delhi was very real. The Pakistani minister, who was completely rendered irrelevant by Pakistan Army chief Asim Munir, said Islamabad did not want any escalation with India but added “the risks are real and I do not deny it”.
Khwaja asif shows ignorance
Showing complete ignorance of history, Khwaja Asif said, “History shows that India was not briefly a united country under Aurangzeb.” Pakistan was created in the name of Allah. We argue and compete at home. We come together in the fight with India. ” In an interview with Samaa TV, he said, “If it comes to war, God is willing, we will get a better result than before, Inshallah.” This is the statement of the Defense Minister of Pakistan, which lost wars against India in 1947-48, 1965, 1971, Kargil War in 1999 and military conflicts in May 2025.
Asim Munir beats with hatred
Asif added communal tones to his speech to the television channel to justify the ‘two nation theory’ which failed miserably. Earlier, Pakistan Army chief Asim Munir said, “Our religions are different, our customs are different, our customs are different, our thoughts are different and our ambitions are different.” he said. This speech triggered the terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22.
Pahalgam terror attack
The terrorist attack forced India to retaliate by targeting Pakistan and ten terrorist hideouts in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. It was called Operation Sindoor. It triggered four days of military clashes between the two countries. After sustaining extensive damage in aerial bombing by the Indian Air Force, Pakistan’s DGMO pleaded with its Indian counterpart to stop the attacks. India accepted this and immediately called off the attack.
