A Lot of Progress Made in US-Ukraine Talks Trump Envoy

BERLIN: US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff said Sunday that “a lot of progress” had been made in talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky over a proposal to end the war with Russia.

The meeting in Berlin between Zelensky and a US delegation that included Witkoff and President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner “lasted more than five hours,” according to information Witkoff published on X.

“Representatives had in-depth discussions on the 20-point plan for peace, economic agendas and more. A lot of progress has been made and they will meet again tomorrow morning.”
