British Grand Prix: Max Verstappen takes pole with Oscar Piastri second and Lando Norris third

Verstappen said that the team had to “do too much work” in high -speed corners due to the low -down force installation chosen, which set aside in the challenging corners.
Low -wing levels come with pros and cons – it accelerates faster on the flat, but makes the car difficult in the corners and potentially increases rubber wear.
Verstappen said: “We looked a little slow on the other wing, also looked at the moon very little and I had to get rid of it. I had a light in the pressure force, but it seemed to work.”
Piastri was the fastest after the first rounds of the first qualifier, but at least he could not develop in his second round due to a few slides from behind from the last corner.
The championship leader said: “I was satisfied with the first round. It was Mega to be honest. I was trying to think about how to go faster and I didn’t.
“The second round was a little messy, but the whole weekend was tight; we will never know if it is a little on the table, but enough.”
Piastri said, “Max is not surprising here,” he said, a very similar speed and conditions to Suzuka, who Verstappen won from Pole.
Norris watched Piastri with 15 points in the race, pointing to half of the season, “Good elimination. Third I will not be unhappy, I would like to be a pole, but Max did a good job today, did a fun elimination. Not at the summit, still a good day.
“Tomorrow will be fun, the three of us and probably a good fight with Lewis, Charles and George.”
