Kate Winslet was left fuming after being ‘stood up’ by her presenters during her Christmas Day appearance on This Morning.
The 50-year-old holiday actor will appear in the festival special episode of the series ahead of the release of his directorial debut, Goodbye June.
In a hilarious skit for viewers, the show’s hosts, including Alison Hammond, 49, can be seen visiting the actress’ iconic country house from The Holiday.
The film revolves around two heartbroken women, played by Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz, who decide to switch homes in the English countryside and Los Angeles during the festive period.
When they arrive at the Christmas-like village Cat Deely asks: ‘Here, we have to host the Christmas Day show soon, where are we?’
Alison replies: ‘I thought we’d switch the studio to a special location this year.’

It says: ‘No, no, no Al here says “Kate Winslet will be joining us in the This Morning studio on Christmas Day…”
The skit then cuts to the studio where Kate is waiting for Alison, Cat, Ben Shephard and Dermot O’Leary to arrive.
‘Are they coming?’ he asks.
Drawing attention to the extent of the mistake, Dermott says: ‘So Kate Winslet is back in the studio and here we are.’
Looking visibly angry, Kate jokes: ‘I’m so glad I waited, but I thought…’
