Liam Gallagher ‘buys football legend Tony Adams’ Cotswolds mansion for £4.2m’ after Oasis reunion tour success

Liam Gallagher has reportedly spent his Oasis reunion tour money on buying a Cotswolds mansion.
The 52-year-old singer is thought to have snapped up the impressive country house from Arsenal icon Tony Adams.
The eight-bedroom luxury home in a sought-after location is reportedly on the market for £4.25 million.
Located near Cirencester, Gloucs, the house sits on five acres of land and also has tennis courts as well as a swimming pool.
The grounds also include stables and a two-bedroom cottage.
A source told Sun: ‘Liam loves the countryside and the house is the perfect retreat after the massive Oasis tour.

‘Liam is also very fond of his rescue dog, Buttons, so he wanted to find a home with plenty of open space.
‘She loves hosting, so she’s looking forward to hosting friends and family at her home.’
The Daily Mail has contacted Liam’s representatives for comment.
This newspaper first revealed that former England and Arsenal captain Tony, 58, had decided it was time to move on and was putting the stunning home up for sale.
Adams, who is competing on Strictly in 2022, was hoping to make a tidy profit from the hideaway he bought for £2million more than 20 years ago – and it looks like he’s succeeded.
He bought the property from a millionaire businessman just after hanging up his boots, following a 19-year career playing as a centre-back for the Premier League club.
Described by estate agents when listed for sale as having the ‘perfect blend of elegance, comfort and tranquility’, the ‘charming’ main house features ‘classic architecture with a touch of Cotswold charm’.
The interior is said to provide ‘versatile entertaining spaces for every occasion’.
Liam’s reported acquisition follows his hugely successful reunion tour with brother Noel this year, which sold out stadiums around the world

These include a cinema and games room, with photos of the Arsenal team and memorabilia such as the famous No. 6 jersey, a pool table, table tennis and even a drum set.
Details accompanying a stylish video tour of the property also highlight its more traditional aspects: ‘The house is adorned with period features, from elegant drawing rooms and formal dining areas, to large rooms and high ceilings, creating a wealth of light and space.’
Upstairs there is a large master bedroom, a large football-style dressing room and en-suite bathroom, and there are four more bedrooms, one of which Adams uses as an office.
The report that Liam has bought the property comes after it was revealed in August that his Downton Abbey-style mansion, which he rented with fiancée Debbie Gwyther for an eye-popping £19,000 a month ahead of the Oasis reunion tour, was on the market for £6 million.
The World War II building near Stroud in Gloucestershire has undergone extensive renovations. The magnificent, grade-listed property has 11 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a gym, sauna and even a meditation room.
During his stay in the Cotswolds last year, Liam counted the likes of David and Victoria Beckham, Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden among his neighbors, while Taylor Swift also rented a £3,000-a-night property nearby during her UK tour.
Just last month, Liam revealed that the Oasis reunion tour ‘saved his life’ after healing from his long-running rift with brother Noel.
Posting on social media, Liam replied to a fan: ‘Oasis saved my life. It’s time to take care of my nappa
‘I know how important this is to people, so quitting drinking and smoking and grumbling Gary bald are sacrifices that need to be made.’
He signed the message ‘These are the rules of the MCFC’, saluting his own football team, the three-time winning blues team Manchester City.
