UN report: Israel practising racial segregation and apartheid

A report by the UN Human Rights Office has found that Israel is ‘suffocating’ Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem with its policies, practices and laws and consistently violating international law.

Report, can be found hereIt states: “… of the more than 1,500 Palestinians killed between January 1, 2017 and September 30, 2025, 112 were prosecuted by Israeli authorities, with only one conviction”.

The Israeli state’s racial discrimination and apartheid practices have infected every aspect of Palestinian life.

“Israeli authorities treat Israeli settlers and Palestinians living in the West Bank under two separate laws and policies, resulting in unequal treatment on a number of critical issues, including movement and access to resources such as land and water,” the report states.

“Palestinians continue to suffer widespread land confiscation and deprivation of access to resources. This has led to their dispossession of their land and homes, as well as other forms of systematic discrimination, including criminal prosecutions in military courts, where their rights to due process and a fair trial are systematically violated.”
