Katherine Ryan’s daughter Violet, 16, reveals plans to have lip fillers when she turns 18 – despite her mum being left scarred by ‘really dodgy injections’

Katherine Ryan’s 16-year-old daughter Violet has vowed to get lip fillers when she turns 18, despite her mother’s traumatic experience with the procedure.
In an interview with The Times about her beauty regimes and favourites, the determined teenager revealed her plans: ‘I’ll definitely get lip fillers when I’m 18. Just half a milliliter. It’ll look so beautiful!’
The funny lady has spoken in the past about being scarred for life due to her experiences with cheap fillers due to lack of research or funding.
She said: ‘I had some really dangerous lip injections when I was younger. The reason for this was that I had neither knowledge nor funds… I was 21 years old then. It never disappeared. I still have scar tissue. ‘I don’t know what they injected into my lips.’
Although she was against her daughter having the procedure, she was happy with UK laws on the subject: ‘Luckily, at this age I have the law on my side’, but Violet disagreed: ‘Yes, but I’m 18, I don’t need to ask your permission.’

Katherine gave birth to her fourth child, named Holland Juliette, in October.

Given the lasting impact of her failed run, the star revealed that she tried to explain to Violet what she would look like at 40.
He said: ‘I tell 16-year-olds what my mother told me; You think you won’t care what you look like when you’re 40 because this is basically the grave, but you still care. And you have to make 16-year-old decisions for the rest of your life.’
Continuing with the warnings and future implications of her beauty choices, Violet admitted that she is a fan of sun worship but is also aware of the dangers.
She continued: ‘I really love tanning. But now I know what wrinkles are and I don’t want them, so I apply SPF 50 on my face and SPF 30 on my body.’
Katherine has previously spoken out about her other cosmetic work and insisted she was unimpressed by her critics after a series of procedures.
He said: ‘I am resilient to criticism. If people want to gossip about my appearance, I think I provide them with a useful service as a comedian…
‘Some people really like to criticize and I don’t mind as long as they’re having a good time doing it. I’m very lucky. I really don’t care.”
Katherine also spoke about her positive experience, saying: ‘I absolutely loved having breast implants. ‘I didn’t have breasts and they never grew’ (filmed with husband Bobby Koostra)

‘I was lucky because I went to a really great board-certified surgeon and I always had this idea of what was reasonable and proportionate…
‘I have never experienced body dysmorphia. ‘I want breasts bigger than my head!’ We see celebrities saying: [but] I’ve always been pretty conservative. And it truly changed my life. ‘I felt much more feminine, much more beautiful.’
She has revealed that she plans to have a facelift in 2024, after gifting her mother Julie the procedure for the princely sum of £50,000. She said: ‘I definitely want a facelift. Very soon. ‘I bought my mother one for her birthday’.
Violet is Katherine’s child from a previous relationship, and she shares four-year-old son Fred, two-year-old daughters Fenna and five-month-old Holland Juliette with husband and childhood sweetheart Bobby Kootstra.
