Trump Goon Issues Jaw-Dropping Insult to Value of Human Life

The Environmental Protection Agency has abandoned the practice of valuing human life when setting limits on deadly air pollutants and now only considers costs to corporations. The EPA, led by President Donald Trump’s ally Lee Zeldin, made the decision last week in a significant change in policy. Normally, EPA calculates the benefits of air pollution rules by estimating how many lives would be saved and then assigning a monetary value to each of those lives; This method is called “statistical value of life”.
