CM calls for steps to expand Sanjeevani Project across A.P.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has asked the Medical and Health Department (M&HD) to expand the Sanjeevani Project designed to monitor public health data in the State.
Addressing the review meeting on Wednesday, Mr. Naidu said the project was launched on a pilot basis in Chittoor district and should be expanded across the state to achieve better public health outcomes.
He suggested that advanced technologies should be used to provide quality medical services.
He said the Sanjeevani project should appeal to everyone, from babies to the elderly, and said he wanted a Nutrition app to be developed.
The Prime Minister told officials to accurately evaluate public health parameters by conducting sample surveys from time to time.
While proposing constituency-level task forces to spread health awareness, Mr. Naidu said data on conditions such as anemia, heart problems, diabetes and kidney and liver diseases should be compiled.
Also, Mr. Naidu said that there should be a super specialty hospital in every constituency. Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav and Health Ministry officials attended the meeting.
