Nottingham Forest agree deal for Stefan Ortega and target Davide Frattesi

Nottingham Forest We reached an agreement for Manchester City Goalkeeper Stefan Ortega is worth up to £500,000.
Sean Dyche’s side are also trying to land Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi, who was initially on loan with the option of a permanent transfer.
The 26-year-old player played 33 times for Italy this season and 19 matches for Inter.
German Ortega, 33, currently sits third at the Etihad behind Gianluigi Donnarumma and James Trafford.
His contract will expire this summer and he will not be able to play for Pep Guardiola’s team yet this season.
Forest’s need for a goalkeeper stems from John Victor’s knee injury, which will keep him out for the rest of the season.
The City Ground club held talks with Wolves over the transfer of Jose Sa but then turned to Ortega.
Ortega has made 56 appearances for City since joining City in 2022 and played a key role in their Premier League title run in 2024.
He played 22 matches last season, including matches in the Club World Cup in July and the FA Cup final defeat against Crystal Palace.
Forest, which is in the Europa League play-offs and 17th in the Premier League, added Napoli striker Lorenzo Lucca to its squad on loan, and Crystal Palace’s £35 million offer for striker Jean-Philippe Mateta was rejected.
