Emergency services rush to fire near major UK train station | UK | News

Emergency services rushed to a shop near Glasgow Central Station after reports of a fire on Sunday afternoon. Firefighters were called to a building near the station’s Union Street entrance around 3:40 p.m. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service mobilized six appliances and specialist units to the scene.
A cordon was also established between Gordon Street and St Vincent Street, closing the road to both traffic and pedestrians. In the images shared on social media, dense gray smoke can be seen rising from the shop, which appears to be next to the subway.
Fire crews were also seen trying to intervene in the fire.
No injuries have been reported so far.
Citizens were asked to stay away from the area and keep their windows closed.
