Chennai Port-Maduravoyal elevated corridor to be completed by November 2027: NHAI

While work on pre-cast single-cell box girders is progressing rapidly at the 64-acre casting site near Chembarambakkam, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is set to complete the construction of the two-layer Chennai Port-Maduravoyal elevated corridor by November 2027.
“The state government is cooperating with us and has promised to help us increase the daily working hours from 11 to 16 so that we can complete the work as per schedule,” NHAI-Chennai Regional Officer Virender Sambyal told media persons on Tuesday.
