Moment Louis Theroux clashes with HSTikkyTokky over Israel – as documentary maker’s reply that didn’t make it into Netflix show is revealed

This is the moment Louis Theroux clashed with social media star Harrison Sullivan over Israel; The documentary maker’s response was cut from the Netflix show.
The 55-year-old broadcaster sat down with Harrison, 24, better known as HStikkytokky, as part of his deep dive into increasingly misogynistic content online.
During their tense argument, HStikkytokky asked Louis ‘Is Israel committing genocide?’ he asks. and although the question was featured in the Netflix show, the answer did not make the final edit.
But HStikkytokky was livestreaming the entire conversation, which suggests that the person who pushed him to ask Louis about the Gaza genocide was actually one of his fans.
Initially, Louis hesitates to answer the question, but before he is allowed to answer, the influencer repeatedly tells the documentary filmmaker that he is a ‘dummy’.
‘You’re a puppet, you can’t say what you want to say. “That’s enough to say,” he said. ‘You are a puppet, just like Savile was.’
Louis spent three months with Savile for his BAFTA-winning documentary ‘When Louis met… Jimmy’; This documentary was criticized for only briefly touching on widespread rumors that Savile was a pedophile.
HStikkytokky says to Louis after telling him his schedules aren’t edited: ‘I am not a puppet, I am not controlled, no one is my father. Savile is your father, the Jews are your father, you know, I don’t care.
During the duo’s tense argument, HStikkytokky asked Louis Theroux ‘Is Israel committing genocide?’ he asks. with the guidance of a fan during his live broadcast.
Initially, Louis hesitates about the question, but repeatedly tells the HStikkytokky documentary filmmaker that he is a ‘puppet’ before allowing him to answer.

Louis then responds: ‘The UN is building evidence that Israel is committing genocide, and I think there is a strong prima facie basis for a genocide.
‘There is no doubt in my mind that there was ethnic cleansing.
‘Most experts on genocide say it was genocide.’
In February last year, Louis investigated the issue of Israeli settlers in the West Bank; This sparked fears of impartiality amid concerns that the presenter’s wife expressed strong views about Israel.
BBC2 program Louis Theroux: Settlers saw the documentary maker meet a ‘large and growing ultra-nationalist community’ of Israeli settlers living in the area.
The documentary was produced by Mindhouse, the production company Theroux founded with his wife Nancy Strang and another person.
Ms Strang was one of the signatories of a Palestine Film Workers statement accusing Israel of committing ‘genocide’ in Gaza, and also put her name to a ‘Palestinian coalition statement’ condemning police attempts to stop a protest march on the BBC.
He was named as one of the signatories of the ‘Gaza Letter’, sent to the BBC’s senior executives in November 2024, condemning how the broadcasters covered Gaza and saying it had failed to hold Israel to account.
But while the BBC said Ms Strang was “not involved in this project”, Louis defended the documentary, telling the Guardian: “As proud as I am of the film, I know our documentary will never capture the full impact of what is happening in the West Bank.”
Louis also faced criticism after giving a “soft” interview with Bob Vylan following his controversial Glastonbury performance.
The punk band was condemned by the prime minister for calling for the “death” of Israeli soldiers during a demonstration in June, which he called “terrible hate speech”.
There was a nationwide reaction to the set, in which lead vocalist Pascal Robinson-Foster led the crowd in chanting “death, death to the IDF” and “river to sea” and used the term “fuck Zionists”.
In a podcast interview with Robinson-Foster on Octobter, the singer was unrepentant, telling the interviewer that she had ‘no regrets’ and that she would ‘do it again tomorrow.’
Danny Cohen, who was controller of BBC One from 2010 to 2013, took to the documentary maker over the controversial star’s appearance on his podcast, saying he had “lost the plot in a very dangerous way”.
He told the Daily Mail: ‘Louis Theroux chose to interview a man who made extremely anti-Semitic comments on a stage at Glastonbury and this was rightly dismissed as a serious incident of racism by the BBC itself.’
In his latest documentary, Louis delves into the world of how leading male content creators are helping shape young men’s ideas about masculinity.
The 55-year-old entered their world and learned how these individuals promote their views on traditional gender roles and values.
At the beginning of the documentary, Louis notes how he noticed that ‘parts of the Internet had been taken over’ by male influencers who claimed to provide young men with ‘cheat codes to win at life’.
He met Harrison (aka HSTikkyTokky), Myron Gaines, Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy (aka Sneako), Justin Waller, and Ed Matthews.
Louis said what impressed him most about Harrison were the interactions he had with his mother before he was interviewed for the documentary.
In a clip from the Netflix show, the influencer’s mother tells her she needs to drink juice, and she replies sternly: ‘I don’t want juice, mom.’
His mother continues: ‘Don’t embarrass me, don’t be rude. I didn’t raise you this way. Don’t be rude because this is a reflection on me.’

The two then have a heated conversation about something Harrison spilled on the floor.
His mother takes the towel and says: ‘Look at this. I don’t let them come here. ‘Get out of my way.’
Later in the documentary, HStikkytokky is seen shouting it out online after her and Louis filming the Netflix special went viral on social media.
Thousands of viewers commented jokingly that Louis had ‘set up’ the social media star to ‘look like a clown’ by including him in the documentary.
HS was heard fuming: ‘If you want to call me a pimp, a cheater, a racist, a homophobic idiot, I’m all that, I’m all that, Theroux.’
During their tense period together, the publicist noted that Harrison criticized adult female performers and also promoted seedy OnlyFans content on his channel. Harrison has previously described Bonne Blue as ‘disgusting’.
But Louis was quick to point out the similarities between the pair.
Harrison was angered when the content creator claimed she “looked like Bonnie” while describing how she felt about promoting extreme or controversial content.
Speaking about the interview, Harrison began: “I think he’s absolutely repulsive as a person,” before admitting he only put her on air for ‘exposure’.
Louis then asked: ‘You have 500,000 people on your Telegram, right? And you’re out there promoting OnlyFans girls. Do you think there is a contradiction here?’
Harrison responded: ‘No, because I clearly say I’m not giving up and I’m doing it for the money. I don’t care…’
Louis interrupted him: “The morality of this?” HS added: ‘I know this is not good. I tell people: “Don’t watch porn.” This is sad, this is some loser shit.’
But Louis corrected him: ‘You can’t say I encourage it, but you discourage people from doing it… You say that but it doesn’t mean anything.
‘So you say, ‘Come to the gym, I’ll help you exercise’ and then you just eat a box of donuts – a box of donuts that I hold up to your face… that sends such mixed messages.’
HS continued: ‘You do what you choose. If you want to go eat donuts, go for it, but I own the donut shop.
‘If you want to come to the gym and pay for PT or get a donut, I’ll make money either way. My children will be very happy, they will be able to do whatever they want.’
Throughout the documentary, influencers film Louis for their own social media platforms, harassing him and asking questions they receive from their followers during the live broadcast.
This leads to Louis receiving abusive comments about his previous documentary with the late Jimmy Savile.
We also witness homophobic behavior from HSTikkyTokky, while Myron Gaines mentions in front of his girlfriend that he wants multiple partners in the future.
Regarding his own sons, Louis said a parent would ‘hope your influence outweighs’ online content, adding: ‘They probably spend more hours looking at their phones than they do talking to us, and we don’t always know what they’re looking at.’
Reports that Louis was set to ‘star in a new Teenage-inspired documentary for Netflix’ first emerged in September 2025.
Netflix production Adolescence, created and starring Stephen Graham, is about 13-year-old Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper), who is accused of murdering a schoolgirl, with Stephen playing the child’s father.
The scripted series reached 24.3 million views in the first four days of release and was praised for highlighting the online radicalization of young men and boys.
