J&K making rapid strides on path of peace and prosperity: L-G Manoj Sinha

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that he had taken rapid steps towards peace and prosperity under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by reaching all -inclusive growth and social justice since the elimination of Article 370 of the Union Region in 2019.

Lieutenant Governor, former Union Minister and Gandhi Smriti Vice President Vijay Goel in an event, Gandhi Smriti’de “Jammu and Kashmir towards peace” on a special conference on the last five years, Jammu and Kashmir’s economy has doubled.

Mr. Sinha said that under the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister, the region is now connected to other parts of the country through railways. There has been a major increase in the influx of tourists, which has built more than 5,000 new hotels in the Kashmir Valley in the last four years. Many infrastructure projects have been implemented and many social welfare programs have been launched.

The main indicator of development was the 1,700 Crore profit, reserved by the J & K Bank, who had previously lost about 1,300 Crore. By taking advantage of the incentives provided by the government, now many initiatives were coming. A few leading educational institutions were established for local youth who have devoted themselves for peace, prosperity, unity and common harmony in the region.

Mr. Sinha said that the parliamentary elections were carried out in J & K in a fair and peaceful way. Panchayati also added that the Raj system has been successfully implemented throughout the UT and said, “No political party has aroused any doubt about the election process.”

Lieutenant Governor, after the elimination of Article 370, in the last few years, the stone pelting incident has not been reported, he said. Previously, terror clothes would be radicalized and hired by 150 local youth annually, only six examples were reported last year, and only one reported that this was a proof of the fact that J & K was a proof of the development of the inhabitants.

Pakistan said that Pakistan had a spontaneous protest against the murders, called a conspiracy attack to trigger common unrest and once again to destabilize J & K.

Sinha said that the Sindoor operation exhibited the ability of the armed forces to respond to Pakistan -backed terrorism and the ability to use domestic defense systems. “Terrorism has been Pakistan’s state policy since the Partition, and added that international community should work together to eliminate the reproductive areas of terrorism.
