Democratic US representative Rashida Tlaib warned tonight that Donald Trump could “murder 100 million people” if a deal is not reached, adding that it was “clear that he is unfit to be president.”
Detroit’s U.S. House representatives Tuesday joined dozens of other Democrats in Congress in calling to impeach the President Donald Trump He was removed from his post after threatening that “an entire civilization will die tonight” if an agreement is not reached with Iran.
Other Democrats in Michigan didn’t go that far, but also slammed Trump’s remarks, calling them outrageous and “morally wrong.”
“The war criminal in the White House is threatening genocide after bombing a school and murdering young girls,” Tlaib said on social media. “This maniac must be removed from office.”
Saying that Trump threatened to “murder” 100 million people, Thanedar said, “It is clear that he is not fit to be president, the 25th amendment should be implemented. If Vance, Rubio and others continue to be spineless cowards, Congress should do everything possible to stop Trump and this war.”
Thanedar also wrote a letter to 16 members of Trump’s cabinet on Tuesday, urging them to take action.
Trump vowed Monday to destroy “all bridges” and power plants in Iran in just four hours if a deal is not reached by 1 a.m.
In response, some Iranians formed “human chains” on bridges and outside power plants after authorities urged people to gather at potential US and Israeli targets.
The Bulletin of Atomic Scientists has warned that an attack on the Bushehr nuclear power plant would lead to a disaster comparable to the Fukushima disaster in 2011, which killed more than 18,500 people.

Other predictions are more grim.
The International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) has long warned that even a “limited” nuclear war would trigger a “nuclear winter,” blocking out sunlight and causing the collapse of global agriculture and famine for billions of people.
Although the White House has denied active plans for a nuclear attack, the president’s public warnings that “an entire civilization will die tonight” have kept global tensions at an all-time high.
Modern nuclear warheads are much more powerful than the 15-kiloton bomb dropped on Hiroshima, which killed nearly 140,000 people by the end of 1945.
Research published by American physician Frederick M. Burkle predicts that a 500 kt nuclear bomb falling on Tehran would kill approximately 86% of the city’s eight million population.
But survivors face long-term risks such as acute radiation syndrome and cancer.
Medical experts say 65 percent of survivors will be at risk of secondary bacterial infections complicated by antibiotic resistance.
Dire maps show that radioactive clouds from attacks in central Iran could reach Pakistan and northern India within 48 to 72 hours, depending on the shape of the wind.
Pakistan, which is mediating, called on Trump to extend the deadline by two weeks “to allow diplomacy to run its course.”
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said: “Diplomatic efforts towards a peaceful resolution of the ongoing war in the Middle East are progressing steadily, vigorously and vigorously with the potential to yield significant results in the near future.
“To allow diplomacy to run its course, I solemnly request that President Trump extend the deadline by two weeks.
“Pakistan, with all its sincerity, requests the Iranian brothers to open the Strait of Hormuz for two weeks as a sign of goodwill.
“We also call on all warring parties to comply with the ceasefire everywhere for two weeks to allow diplomacy to bring the war to a definitive end, in the interest of long-term peace and stability in the region.”
