Anasuya Bharadwaj Reacts Strongly to Saree Remark, Sparks Buzz
Popular host and actress Anasuya Bharadwaj is back in the limelight after a sari-related controversy. The trouble started when a video of Anasuya wearing a sari went viral on social media and a TV channel came up with a headline claiming that she started wearing saree because of Shivaji. These words did not like the player, who reacted harshly on social media.
Reacting harshly, she wrote: “Wrong wrong! The headline should say that Anasuya is wearing a sari created by Shivaji, right, because before that we didn’t wear saris.” His sarcastic and definitive response quickly gained attention online.
The discussion also brought back memories of past exchanges; Shivaji had previously made comments regarding women’s clothing that sparked criticism, and Anasuya’s responses had hit the headlines at the time.
Meanwhile, a more serious development came to light when Cyberabad Police arrested two people for allegedly posting abusive and vulgar content targeting the actor. Anasuya had filed a complaint stating that many social media accounts had been harassing her with offensive comments since December 2025.
