Obama and Mamdani sing with children in New York

Former US President Barack Obama and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani met for the first time on Saturday at a child care center in the Bronx and sang to preschool children.

Obama and Mamdani led the group in singing Wheels on the Bus, and the kids taught them Soda Pop from the K-pop movie Demon Hunters.

“You really made the mayor feel old,” Obama joked as the children laughed.

“While we were singing on the bus, we discussed our administration’s vision for this city where New York’s sweetest have the strongest possible start,” Mamdani said of the meeting in an Instagram post.
