Dramatic body camera footage shows the moment two Metropolitan Police officers tackle a man suspected of carrying out a terror attack in which two men were stabbed in north London on Wednesday (April 29).

Following the incident on Highfield Avenue, two victims, Nachman Moshe ben Chaya Sarah and Moshe Ben Baila, were taken to hospital with stab wounds.

Police said a 45-year-old Somali-born British man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is being held in police custody.

“The suspect refused to show his hands, became violent and continued to pose a clear threat. Using only their training, courage and stun guns, they detained him as he attacked and attempted to stab them,” the Met said.
