Tamil Nadu Assembly election results 2026 at a glance: vote share, seats, constituency-wise map, and more

In a historic turnaround, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) won 108 of Tamil Nadu’s 234 constituencies, pushing state heavyweights DMK and AIADMK to second and third positions respectively. Although it is still just shy of reaching the 118-seat majority mark, TVK It became the largest single party.
In terms of seat shares by alliance DMK and its allies, including CongressWhile left parties and others won 73 seats, AIADMK and its allies, including BJP,PMK, AMMKand other smaller parties won 53 seats. In terms of vote rates, TVK received 34.92 percent, DMK+ 31.39 percent and AIADMK+ 27.22 percent.
