BJP Rejects Tamil Nadu Power Bid

Tamil Nadu BJP president Nainar Nagendran on Friday said the party wholeheartedly accepts the Assembly election results and respects the decision taken by the people of Tamil Nadu.
Addressing the media after the election results, Nagendran said that the BJP did not get the mandate or opportunity to form a government in the state. He emphasized that the party will not be associated with any movement aimed at forming a new government in Tamil Nadu.
“The people did not give the BJP the opportunity or mandate to form the government in Tamil Nadu in this election. We deeply respect the will of the people and the election results,” he said.
Nagendran also clarified that the Tamil Nadu BJP will neither directly participate in efforts to form a government nor support any party involved in such initiatives. He added that the BJP will not vote in favor of any political entity aiming to form a government in the state.
The statement comes amid political debate over possible post-election alignments following the Assembly election results in Tamil Nadu.
