ED raids against AAP leader in Delhi

The Enforcement Directorate conducted searches on Monday, May 18, 2026, at premises linked to AAP Delhi politician Deepak Singla and some other persons linked to the alleged money laundering case linked to the bank loan scam, officials said.

They said the raids were carried out at locations in Delhi and Goa.

Mr. Singla has contested from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) from the Vishwas Nagar Assembly seat. It was also raided by the emergency service in 2024 as part of an investigation.

The politician could not immediately be reached.

In a separate case, the central investigation agency searched in a case where some people were allegedly duped of Rs 180 million through an investment scam.

Officials said the premises of a person identified as Ram Singh of Babaji Financial Group in Delhi’s Subhash Nagar were raided as part of the investigation.
