Leopard Rescued Safely from SV Veterinary University in Tirupati

Tirupati: A one-year-old female leopard was successfully rescued from Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University in Tirupati without the use of sedatives and with minimal discomfort, officials said on Monday.
The operation was carried out by the HANUMAN (Wildlife Monitoring, Assistance and Care Units) team on the instructions of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. Authorities ensured the safety of students, staff, and the animal during the rescue.
The leopard was safely transported to Sri Venkateswara Zoo Park for medical examination. Officials said the operation underlined the government’s commitment to wildlife conservation and public safety.
