Five Judges appointed to Supreme Court: Law ministry

Five judges were appointed to the Supreme Court on Monday, June 1, 2026, the Union Law Ministry said.
Judges appointed to the top court include Venkita Subramani Mohana, Chief Justice of Bombay High Court Shree Chandrashekhar, Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court Justice Sheel Nagu, Chief Judge of Madhya Pradesh High Court Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva and Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir High Court Arun Palli.

The notifications were made by the Ministry of Law on the morning of Monday, June 1, 2026.
