ABL, KDL call for Ladakh Bandh on June 23

Srinagar: Apex Body Leh (ABL) and Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA) on Saturday called for a Ladakh-wide bandh on June 23, accusing the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and the Union Territory administration of delaying the implementation of commitments made in the meeting held in New Delhi on May 22 and omitting important decisions from the official minutes. Addressing a joint press conference in Leh, leaders of the two organizations alleged that the Center was using delaying tactics instead of meeting Ladakh’s demands.
