Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark exchange words in second Dream-Fever meeting in three days

Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are at it again. The two were seen exchanging words during the first quarter of the Fever’s matchup with the Dream in Atlanta on Saturday.

In the first quarter, Clark lifted the ball upfield and after being fouled near the top of the goal by the Dream’s Jordin Canada, Reese took a shot at the ball. Clark accepted the exception to this law and eventually waved to Reese. The exchange occurred about a minute after Clark hit a three-pointer in Reese’s face.

This is the latest example of how these two don’t really care for each other, as Reese’s intense frustration with Clark is once again on full display.

Reese and the Dream also played Thursday in Indiana, where Reese was caught making fun of Clark when play was stopped.

Last season, while playing for the Chicago Sky, Reese lost his mind after being fouled by Clark. He had to be stopped by multiple teammates as he yelled and screamed at Clark, who maturely walked the other way.

From the moment Reese excessively taunted Clark during the National Championship game in 2023, it was clear that Reese was the bad guy in this one-sided rivalry. It comes across as petty jealousy, not competitive fire.

After a miserable third quarter in which they fell behind by a score of 28-15, the Fever watched the Dream pull away to win 113-96. Clark finished the game with a game-high 26 points, committing seven turnovers, while Reese recorded 18 points and 8 rebounds. The Dream currently leads the season series against Indiana 2-1.
