AC Milan Make Goncalo Ramos Record Signing: Reports

Milan: According to media reports on Friday, AC Milan will break its transfer record with the arrival of Portuguese striker Goncalo Ramos from Paris Saint-Germain.
He will cost between 60 and 70 million euros ($68.3-79.7 million), making the 25-year-old the second most expensive striker in Serie A history after Romelu Lukaku’s transfer from Manchester United to Inter Milan in 2019.
After moving from Benfica for 65 million euros, Ramos spent three years at French champions PSG, winning the Champions League twice.
However, he struggled to maintain a regular first place in the team and was first placed second to Kylian Mbappe and then to PSG centre-forward Ousmane Dembele.
Ramos has not started a single Champions League match for PSG this season.
Coach Luis Enrique has repeatedly said Ramos deserved to play more minutes, but he failed to break into the first-choice XI with a forward line that included Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and French flyer Desire Doue.
Ramos scored 45 goals, mostly as a substitute, in 131 matches in three seasons with PSG.
He won three Ligue 1 titles, the Portuguese league with Benfica and two French Cups.
He is currently with Portugal in the World Cup in North America.
