One Nation MP Barnaby Joyce said party leader Pauline Hanson will meet Reform UK’s Nigel Farage on the sidelines of the CPAC UK meeting in London later this month.
Joyce told Sky News: “If you look at the polls, he’s about to become prime minister of the UK and I think Pauline and One Nation are doing incredibly well and I think they must be getting their notes.”
“I recently went to England and used that to unravel how awful they’ve made it with their intermittent participation in power, and what exactly is going to happen to us. What politicians need to do is make themselves as informed as possible so they can do the best job for their country, Australia.”
Asked whether he was cautious about importing foreign policy into Australia, Joyce said the country could learn from Britain’s mistakes.
“Our physics and chemistry are the same globally and they can’t run intermittent power in the UK. It’s pretty obvious it won’t work here either.”
