Nara Lokesh Woos South Korean Giants for Investments
Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh is currently on an official trip to South Korea and is exploring investments that will strengthen the state’s technology and manufacturing sectors.
On Tuesday, Lokesh met APACT’s managing director Seong Dong Lee and expressed his gratitude for the company’s decision to establish a new facility in the southern province.
In a post on Lokesh said he asked Lee to partner with the government to train youth on OSAT semiconductor technologies.
Similarly, the TDP working chairman also held talks with vice chairman Youngbin Kim and Hanseok Park, vice president of Hyundai Mobis, a South Korean manufacturer of automotive modules, components and electrification components.
He asked them to set up an Electric Vehicle semiconductor center in Andhra Pradesh. On Monday, Lokesh met Seoul Semiconductor Vice President Taehyung Lee and asked him to set up the company’s exhibition factory facility in or around Sri City, among other tasks.
