Tirumala VIP Break Darshans Cancelled from July to September: Check Dates

Tirupati: While two Brahmotsavams are going on this year thanks to Adhika Masam as per Telugu Calendar, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board of Directors (TTD) Additional Chief Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary instructed all heads of concerned departments to finalize the plans and ensure that all arrangements, including the Salakatla (annual) Brahmotsavams to be held in September, are completed within the stipulated time frame.

Dr. Tirupati Joint Chief Executive Officer at Sudharma Conference Hall in Tirumala on Thursday. A review meeting was held with all HoDs along with A. Sharath and CVSO Sri Murali Krishna on the preparedness of the department.

In view of various festivals and religious events planned at Sri Venkateswara Temple, VIP Break Darshans will be canceled on the following dates from July to 30 September 2026:

– July 14: Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam.

– July 17: Anivara Asthanam.

– July 19: Pedda Maryada to Swamiji of Sri Andavan Ashramam.

– July 29: Chaturmasya Sankalpam by Tirumala Jeeyar Swamijis.

– August 22: Ankurarpanam for Pavitrotsavams.

– August 24: Pavitra Samarpana on the second day of Pavitrotsavams.

– September 8: Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam in conjunction with Srivari Brahmotsavams.

– September 14: Ankurarpanam for Srivari Brahmotsavams.

– 15 – 23 September: (Dwajarohanam, Garuda Vahanam, Rathotsavam, Chakrasnanam dates during Srivari Brahmotsavams

On the day before the above-mentioned dates, VIP letters of recommendation will not be accepted, except from Protocol dignitaries. He also stated that special darshans for the elderly, disabled, parents with babies, NRIs and donors have also been suspended. Due to the heavy traffic expected during Garuda Seva, the use of two-wheelers is prohibited on Tirumala Ghat Roads from 21:00 on 18 September 2026 to 06:00 on 20 September 2026.

Devotees are requested to be mindful of these restrictions while planning their pilgrimage to Tirumala.
