The Indian Embassy in Hanoi said search and rescue operations by local authorities were continuing, adding that the exact details of the incident were being determined.

“In a tragic incident, a boat carrying several Indian tourists capsized near Vietnam’s Phu Quoc Island,” the embassy said. X.

It was stated that control rooms were established at the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City and the Embassy in Hanoi to provide information and assistance.
