Ajay Devgn’s ‘Dhamaal 4’ Earns Rs 38.81 Crore at Box Office

New Delhi: Ajay Devgn starrer “Dhamaal 4” earned Rs 38.81 crore nett at the domestic box office on its second day of release. The film is directed by Indra Kumar and will be released on Friday. Produced under T-Series, the film serves as the fourth installment of the hit “Dhamaal” franchise, which reunites fan-favorite characters Adi and Manav, played by Devgn, Jaaved Jaaferi and Sanjay Mishra, alongside Arshad Warsi and Riteish Deshmukh.

According to a press release, the film opened with Rs 15.50 crore nett and earned Rs 23.21 crore nett at the domestic box office on Saturday.

“Dhamaal 4” tells the story of a group of eccentric, money-hungry misfits who compete with each other to find a legendary treasure hidden on a remote island. Their quest takes an unexpected turn when they encounter an inept crew of modern pirates searching for treasure according to official records.

Presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in association with Devgn Films. It is produced by Devgn, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Indra Kumar, Anand Pandit and Kumar Mangat Pathak.

The “Dhamaal” franchise started with the hit of the same name in 2007, followed by “Double Dhamaal” (2011) and “Total Dhamaal” released in 2019. The fourth episode also stars Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye, Vijay Patkar and Ravi Kishan.
