Expert lip reader reveals what really happened between THAT World Cup couple caught on camera… after tense exchange went viral
Lip readers believe they uncovered what was said in a viral video of a South African couple arguing during a match at the World Cup.
In the video, a couple is seen waving a flag during the match against South Korea in Monterrey and the two begin to argue after the man looks at his phone.
The two continued talking to each other, as if something was bothering the man. Even when the woman sat down, ostensibly to leave the argument, the man repeatedly turned away in what appeared to be an agitated or confrontational manner.
Although what was said was initially a mystery, expert analyst and professional lip reader Nicola Hickling believes she has solved the case.

After she started to move the phone away from the boy, she realized that her man was talking on the phone before showing her what was on the phone.
A lip reader is believed to have revealed which words were spoken in the viral video of two South African fans appearing to be a couple fighting at a World Cup match.
In the video, the unidentified man is seen repeatedly shouting at his alleged partner.
‘There is nothing to see. “The children took their photos and sent them,” he said.
The woman then asked: ‘Why are you looking?’ he asks. to which the man replies: ‘I don’t look at other women.’
The two go back and forth before the man says, “Maybe that’s why.” [I] “That’s enough.” Don’t mention anything before answering.
Finally, the man is seen saying, ‘Shut up,’ before the woman replies, ‘I’m tired of you arguing all the time.’
Although the video was first posted on TikTok, it also went viral on other social media platforms, with many comments and speculations about what the fight was about.
‘How can I file for divorce on behalf of someone else?’ a user on X asked.
One account quipped: ‘The divorce came out of nowhere.’
