Brazil judge grants injunction against soy moratorium suspension
Sao Paulo (Reuters) -Brsilian federal judge temporarily suspended a decision that stopped the “Soy Soyorium” program from Antitröst guard Cade to the world’s largest soy exporter.
The two -year special agreement was created to protect the Amazon rainforest by preventing soy traders from buying the land after July 2008.
Cade’s General Manager gave cereal merchants 10 days to suspend the cereal merchants last week, because the guard dog called for a complete investigation into the signatures of the program, where companies shared commercially sensitive information.
The decision was criticized by Grains Trader Lobies, Environmental Group Greenpeace and Brazilian Ministry of Environment, while welcomed by farm groups, including Aproja Mato Grosso.
In the decision of Monday, judge adverist rates are limited to Above, a lobby that represents oil seed crushers, and a complete Cade Panel decided to suspend the observer’s decision until the final call for Above.
