ED questions BJP worker who filed petition in HC questioning Rahul Gandhi’s citizenship

According to official sources, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is a Karnataka BJP worker who filed a petition to the Supreme Court of Allahabad, who claims to be an British citizen assigned to the Executive Director on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.

S. Vignesh Shishir told reporters that he was called in accordance with the 37th episode of the Foreign exchange management law (FEMA) on this investigation before entering the Federal Probe Agency office in the center of Delhi.

Mr. Shishir was asked to present certain documents and “evidence” he claimed to have. Agency sources, he was asked certain questions and the statement was recorded under the fema, he said.

In accordance with FEMA, the Executive Directorate (ED) queries complaints about foreign exchange law violations by individuals and companies.

Shishir told reporters, “I have some concrete evidence, information, documents, records and videos …” he said.

The congress party refused to comment on this issue.

In a PIL opened before the Supreme Court of Allahabad, Mr. Shishir claimed that Mr. Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha, was a British citizen, and he claimed that the British government had some e -mails, and therefore the elections in India are not suitable for the competition.

On August 30, the Lucknow Counter of the Allahabad Supreme Court ordered the day security order to ensure Mr. Shishir by the Union Government.

Sanggeeta Chandra and Bring, a Justice bench, ordered the BJP worker in his petition.

Temporary order, “the petition follows their lawsuits against a very strong individual and faced constant threats, and at the police station in Kotwali in the Raebareli region, we were pleased to appear before the investigation officer pursuing the notification given to him.”

Mr. Shishir claimed that he had an investigation by the CBI in the complaint made in June 2024 and provided evidence of Gandhi’s alleged British citizenship.

The topic was published by the Supreme Court on 9 October.

During a hearing in this case, the central government told the Court that the Indian Government was looking for details of Gandhi’s allegation of British citizenship.
