The Indian navy became more powerful after receiving the world’s most deadly and forward 3D air surveillance radar from Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL). The name of the radar is Lanza-n designed by the Spanish company Indra. India is doing this in the country under technology transfer. “Tata Advanced Systems, Indra Company in cooperation with Tata Advanced Systems, the first 3D air surveillance radar (3D-ASR) successfully producing, delivering and assigning the first Indian navy on an Indian navy warship.”

What is Lanza-n?

Lanza-N is a modular, impact, completely solid state, medium and long-range radar. It is specially designed for air defense and anti -missile operations. This system can capture enemy drones, supersonic fighters, anti -radiation missiles and sea platforms.

How does Lanza work work?

The LANZA-N integrates a 3D primary surveillance radar (PSR) based on a pencil beam architecture that provides medium and long-range coverage. The main function of the SR is the detection of aircraft that do not cooperate in the volume of instrument coverage, even under negative conditions, including complex and ECM environment. The target coordinates provided by Lanza-N include target height (3D position).
