AIADMK leader Palaniswami deplores ‘blocking’ of Tamil news channel’s telecast on Arasu cable network

AIADMK Secretary General Edappadi K. Palaniswami blocked the reports of Arasu TV Corporation, a distribution network of the Tamil Nadu government on Monday, October 6, 2025. Puthiya ThalaimuraiA Tamil television news channel, on the network.

In an article on the social media branch, Mr. Palaniswami also referred to reports that the publications in the media were fully suspended in some regions after being fully suspended. Pointing out that the media has a role for the state government to play a role that identifies the coincidences, he said that instead of correcting himself, the state government was trying to take revenge on the channel, a condemnable ”action.

He called on the DMK government to ensure that Arasu Cable TV Corporation’s network to restore a smooth telekast.
