All 14 UK theme parks changing prices after Rachel Reeves decision | UK | News

Theme parks are expected to cut prices this summer, a decision recently agreed by Chancellor Rachel Reeves and the Labor Government. This marks the start of the UK Summer Savings scheme, which aims to help families during the summer holidays. Cheaper prices are expected in July and August for theme parks, restaurants and cinemas.
Those looking for discounted theme park thrills or even a trip around safari parks to see creatures big and small are in luck as the scheme is available for many high-profile attractions across the UK.
Reeves said in a speech: announcement earlier this week: “I know the cost of living is the number one concern for families, and it can be even more difficult during the summer holidays when kids want to do things and money is tight. That’s why we’re making it a little easier for families to make memories and enjoy little treats together, while supporting businesses across the UK.”
Reeves also said: BBC He said he sympathized with the rising cost of summer holidays and that parents often had to “juggle” to divide their time between work and entertaining their children.
He added that the aim of the temporary VAT cut on family-related activities was to “help people remember those precious memories during their summer holidays, but without having to spend so much money on it”.
Price reductions will affect children’s menus in restaurants, children’s and family tickets to cinemas, theatres, concerts, shows and exhibitions, and entrance tickets to various tourist attractions.
