Angela Rayner moves to block Sadiq Khan from running as MP while Mayor | Politics | News

Angela Rayner took action to prevent Sir Sadiq Khan from running to Parliament when he was the Mayor of London. The Deputy Prime Minister also made a draft law that would prevent anyone from serving as mayors and deputies.
Before the next general election, it would make it possible to win a Commons seat. The Rayner Department insisted that change was to “focus” to the mayors to serve their local population.
A Toray strategist claimed that the Ashton-Under-Lyne deputy had maneuver against competitors for labor leadership.
They said Telegram: “Get out of trying to do it on the streets of WES, again in Angela Rayner maneuvers, potential leadership rivals stabbed.
“The small party should focus on surrendering to England rather than political fights. Nevertheless, the party, the country is the last.”
Sir Sadiq, after being re -elected in May last year, serves as the Mayor of London third.
The high -profile working politician was a Tooting deputy from 2005 to 2016.
Last year, Sir Sadiq insisted that “he had nothing to do with the leader of the worker or the next worker leader” and “there is no ambition to return to the Avamons”.
Rayner is also accused of removing the leadership of Health Secretary Wes Streeting.
As a campaign group and political party that can benefit pro -Gaza candidates, it is scrapping the ban on registered organizations.
Mr. Streeting won the Ilford North seat in the last election, with a majority of Fine Gofret with 528 votes against a pro -Palestinian candidate.
The spokesman of the Rayner Department said: “Mayors with police and criminal brokers cannot serve as deputies and these changes will make it consistent for all mayors, so that they will be able to play an important role in the foreground of change.”
